Märzen provides development and consulting support in the area of the DOD’s Defense Information Infrastructure Common Operating Environment [DII COE] and is participating in the migration of the DOD to the Net-Centric Enterprise Services [NCES].   Märzen staff has wide experience with the development and support of DII COE Segments for both the Windows and UNIX Platforms. 

On the Windows platform Märzen developed and delivered two types of the DII COE Infrastructure Segments on NT for DISA DII COE Engineering Office in the areas of Security and Data services.  The result was the successful submission of over 15 segments that passed DISA DII COE certification Testing.

Marzen also has been active in the certification testing of DII COE segments.  it help in the development of the DII AF test suite that is used to evaluate segments submitted by Air Force developers for DII COE compliance.

Märzen also has developed over 45 Service Unique Mission Application segments for the United States Air Force on the Windows NT platform.  All of these segments are operational today in both classified and unclassified facilities worldwide.

Märzen offers consulting service to agencies making the decision to develop a DII COE segment, or we can provide training to the development staff responsible for the segmentation effort.  Finally, Märzen can be contracted to perform the entire segmentation effort; working with both the developer and with DISA to generate the segmentation package for delivery.
